Shimmick is actively seeking a highly motivated Northwest Field Engineer Intern for employment in our Northwest Division. Location is to be determined, but will be in Northern California. Expected start is May or June, 2025 with an end date in August or September pending the academic schedules.
Shimmick has a long history of completing complex water projects, ranging from the world’s largest wastewater recycling and purification system in California to the record-setting Hoover Dam. Northwest Division
Shimmick’s Northwest Division focuses on transportation, transit, water resources, and water treatment projects in northern California and throughout the Northwest. In addition, this division was awarded the APWA 2019 Public Works Project Award in the environment category for the Alameda Creek Fish Passage project in California.
