Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Field Engineer to be based out of Oakland, CA. This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the city.

Electrical Division
Since the early 1990s, Shimmick has been self-performing electrical scopes for civil projects. Shimmick offers electrical expertise in transit, water/wastewater, alternative energy, power generation and transmission civil work, as well as commercial building projects. This division’s ability to self-perform offers additional value to clients and enables better control of cost and schedule for projects with major electrical scopes. The Electrical Division serves clients which include municipalities, water districts, sanitation districts, transit agencies, private developers, DOTs, and USACE.

The salary range for this position is between $105,000 - 115,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
