Carpenter Journeyman II

Rust is seeking a highly talented Carpenter Journeyman II based out of Lewisville, TX.  This challenging position will provide an excellent growth opportunity while improving the infrastructure of the city. 

Rust Constructors Inc. is a full-service, merit-shop construction and maintenance company providing life-cycle services for the mining, power, industrial, infrastructure, and government markets.  Our services include construction, construction management, construction consulting; testing, checkout, start-up; and plant services including total plant maintenance, shutdowns, turnarounds, production support and technical support.  Rust is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shimmick Construction Company, Inc.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Under direct supervision,  performs routine duties.
• Displays knowledge and abilities  to evaluate, select and apply standard construction 
  techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic 
  construction specifications.
• Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.  Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of  installed commodities to assure conformance with  specifications and design.
• May provide technical direction to laborers or discipline helpers.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4 or more years of experience in carpentry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trade schools, seminar, or other relevant training

The hourly rate for this position is $24.88 per hour.
